A hearty and nutritious meal to warm you up!
Ingredients
- 2 cans stewed tomatoes, mashed
- 1 can tomato soup
- 2 cans hot chili beans
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon brown sugar
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Dash of crushed red pepper or Tabasco Sauce
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef, browned
- 2 green peppers, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 – 2 1/2 cups cubed New Brunswick White potatoes
Directions
Cook potatoes in a little water for 5 to 10 minutes. Put remaining ingredients in slow cooker. Add potatoes, with water, to chili. Bring all ingredients to a boil, then simmer in a slow cooker.
